In the hip-hop community, Wu-Tang Clan is regarded as a pioneer. The group is best known for its original nine members, which are RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, U-God, Inspectah Deck, and Masta Killa. Although the collective had many artists associated with it, there were also some artists who made history, including Remedy, who became the first white rapper and the first Jewish rapper to be associated with Wu-Tang Clan.

There is no denying the fact that Remedy is a member of the wu tang killa bees t shirt Clan crew and not the rap collective, but due to his close relationship with the artists, he has been featured on many of the most popular Wu-Tang Clan albums and songs. The most memorable appearance of Remedy was on Wu-Tang Killa Bees: The Swarm Vol. 1, the compilation album released in 1998, when his song, “Never Again,” appeared.

Over a beat laced with the Kiddush prayer,

Remedy raps over the beat of “Never Again,” paying tribute to those who perished during the Holocaust. Remedy also comments on his Jewish faith in the song and how it has influenced him in such a way that he considers it to be one of his signature tunes in spite of the fact that it has influenced his life in a profound way.

The rapper was born and raised in Staten Island, where he attended New Dorp High School, and he became friends with Wu-Tang and Inspectah Deck’s Raekwon, Method Man, and Inspectah Deck, who were all students at the school at the time.

During that time I was in New Dorp, Method Man was over there for a minute, as well as Deck and Raekwon, but they had not yet made up the Wu Tang Killa Bees shirt when I was there.” Remedy said. In his opinion, high school football was like a second family to him, and there were many cats there as well.

It is true that Remedy’s grandparents were Holocaust survivors and that some of his family members were murdered, but all of these factors have contributed to his Jewish upbringing, as well as the fact that, as an American Jew, he uses his position as a rapper to inform others about his faith in the Jewish people.

Even though you learn about the Holocaust and Hitler in school, Remedy seemed to want to know more about it. It’s crazy that mankind has been recording history for over 5,000 years and the Holocaust happened just 75 years ago. It’s crazy that the whole world sat back and watched while like 12 million people suffered.
