The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) exam is conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for examining the competencies of an advocate to practice the profession of law in India.

For assessing the understanding of basic knowledge of the law and the analytical abilities of the candidate, a written test is conducted. “Certificate of Practice” is presented to candidates who clear the AIBE exam.

The prerequisites set by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are required to be met by the candidate for being eligible to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).

To assess the candidate’s competencies to practice the profession of law, The AIBE exam is conducted twice a year.

AIBE XVII 2022 result – Minimum cut off marks:

All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a qualification-based exam. AIBE is conducted to test the candidate’s ability to understand the basic legal knowledge and skills required for practicing law.

Hence, a particular threshold is announced and candidates scoring above a particular threshold are considered qualified for obtaining a Certificate of Practice (CoP) issued by the Bar Council of India, the apex law body.
